Default lack of rear brake pressure - help!!!

I have a '92 Fatboy that I just recently replaced the stock rear brake pedal with an aftermarket extended one. The install was easy but now there seems to be very little pressure when I depress the pedal. Anyone know what might have caused this? Was there something else I should have done when replacing the pedal? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Did you open the master cylinder?

No. I simply removed the stock pedal and installed the new one. Should I have?

Even if you didn't break the seal on the master cylinder, suggest removing the cover, checking the brake fluid level, and - if low - flush and bleed.

yep, sounds like you may have some air in the system. Better to be safe and check the level and bleed.
