06 classic won't start

Possible Vapor Lock
I just fixed my 07Ultra by disconnecting the quick connect under the tank and reconnecting it. I stopped last nite at local watering hole on way home..when leaving bike would not start. Cranked over fine but would not hit a lick. Being previously bit by a bad CPK sensor I changed out with the spare I had. NO JOY Brother towed me home with a tie down strap.
Next morning still same thing. Hooked up TwinScan and found nothing.
Searched forums on internet and saw where some guy had the same problem and solved it by doing what I did. Thought he was full of **** too.
Took air cleaner cover off and shot starting fluid in it. It fires !
Immediately went to other side of bike, unhooked the fuel line at the quick disconnect and reconnected it. Bike fired and ran immediately and has every time since.
I wish now I would have tried loosening the gas cap first just to see if that would have solved it but I think the problem is in the connector to injector part of the hose.

Make sure the gas is actually getting from the tank into the cylinders. Pull the A/C off and carefully shoot some starting fluid directly into the throttle body, see if it acts like it wants to fire. See this thread for additional info....
