I just came back from the bike show at the PA State HOG Rally in York PA and there were only about 2 custom painted harleys..... after the winners were announced one of the guys who had the custom pain job tore out of there and was showing off for everyone a little bit by going about 30mph through the parking lot where everyone was hanging out.......
he didnt see the yellow tape and instead of just going through and ripping the tape he slammed on his front brake and dropped his bike right in front of me and almost knocked over my bike as well as about 10 other scooters.....
when he dropped the bike it didnt shut off and the rear wheel kept spinning so the bike was doing doughnuts on its side w/ him sorta pinned under the scoot......
he had about a $10,000 custom paint job all done up w/ an american indian theme...... i tell ya what when he got up his tear drop tattoos looked sorta real.... he was scared, pissed, and mostly embarrassed
but NOT 1 scratch on his bike.... well except the front crashbar and his front cruise pegs were a little banged up and his jeans were ripped......... lucky SOB
What would I do if he slammed into me? hmmmmmm, not sure.......
Even though he was sorta showing off I still felt sorta bad for him ---- i'm not impressed by much but his paintjob sure did have some time and some $$$'s in it............ but what made him look even wors2 was that when he finally got his bike to start he tore off speeding and jerking around some more...... (it didnt want to fire up cuz it was on its side for a few mins i guess)
and nah... didnt have my vid camera w/ me.......... hell it was even too random to get my camera out... i just wanted to help get his bike stopped cuz it was like a bowling ball heading for a row of bikes (mine included).
