I bought peg extenders from Kury for mine. Had the exact same problem. Works like a charm.

Moves them out some too, but after I rode it, I decided I liked them shoved out a bit too.

I have a 29" inseam, and did not have any problems reaching the controls with the stock seat, but to be more comfortable I went with the reach seat, if you go that route your nuts are gonna start hating you

My sportster is the L model that was lowered an additional 1.5inches to accommodate the previous owner who was only 4'10. (I am 5'3) She also put on the solo reach seat and was still tippy toed when stopped. I am flat foot position, which I like, but the mid controls on the bike put me too much in a tuck position. Forward controls are too awkward for me, so I am in search of controls that sit between mid and forward.
