Default riding over for year

I slipped and fell off side of truck at work and broke my leg right where it conects to knee and shattered knee socket only fell about 5 ft just landed wrong.Having surgery tues will be 3 or 4 months before I can put any weight on it and 4 to 6 before I can start doing anything normal if everything takes and goes well.

Sorry to hear that man ...... there is no way anybody who does not ride understand's that is gonna be a lifetime .... look forward , get better , and make plan's .....

Wow that really stinks. I hope you heal well and are back on the bike sooner than that!

Oh wow that SUCKS... So sorry to hear. Hope it heals to 100% and you're back in the saddle again first thing next spring.

Take your time with the healing & rehab. Too much to soon can give you problems for life.

Ride any way broke my leg at the knee in a motorcycle deer colision hobbled out to the garage on crutches costed down the drive way drove over my yard to get headed in the right direction. it was my left leg shifting was a bitch learned to stop leaning to the right in a hurry.
Of course as always ime still paying the price for not taking it easy.

I hear ya. Three weeks ago someone turned left in front of me and I have a fractured hip and pelvis. At least next year before I ride (if ever). Two months before I can drive a car they tell me. I just can't wait until the bike is fixed so I can keep it lookin pretty.
