I am sure Mark (Iron ***) will probably follow all of the official rules. I am also sure he is pushing his physical self to the limit and beyond. I don't see how these two guys are a day ahead either. We will see next weekend though. That is when the winner will be announced.

I say congrats if they did it by the rules and legal.

I vote that if they cheated to put their asz in jail for a month and give the $$$ to third place, If there is any $$$$

Hate to bring the party down boys, but a biker just died in Wyoming while attempting this. Apparently he fell asleep. This and that Iron Butt stuff can be very dangerous. Be careful.

i got a question, wha tabout insurance for these guys? i knwo both my biek policy and my personal life insurance has stipulations that prevent pay-out if the accident/death or injury occured during a sporting event, competion or race. i spoke with my agent awhile back and the hoka hey challenge would fall under this stipulation. anyone else's insurance have these policy's?

We all know group riding is dangerous..Even more so when there is a prize at stake!

Coyote, I do not think ANYONE'S insurance would cover any perils in this event, unless they were professional road racers with very expensive coverage from Lloyds of London or something like that! that too was part of the inherent risk.
