Hate to bring the party down boys, but a biker just died in Wyoming while attempting this. Apparently he fell asleep. This and that Iron Butt stuff can be very dangerous. Be careful.
i got a question, wha tabout insurance for these guys? i knwo both my biek policy and my personal life insurance has stipulations that prevent pay-out if the accident/death or injury occured during a sporting event, competion or race. i spoke with my agent awhile back and the hoka hey challenge would fall under this stipulation. anyone else's insurance have these policy's?

yep....same thing. I hope and pray the gentleman who died pushing his limits (apparently) had a better policy for the sake of his survivors.

This was the second accident involving Hoka-Hey that day along that stretch of road. There were three riders directly in front of me heading south on I-25. One lost it in the construction zone. The other two went down trying to avoid him. Everyone got stopped without creating any further incidents. We got the guys and there bikes out of the traffic lane. The ambulance came and checked them out. As far as we were told other than bumps and bruises they were OK. That is one nasty stretch of road right now due to that construction.
