Three friends of mine left NE Arkansas for Alaska this week. I talked to one of them on Monday in my office and he was telling me how excited he was about the trip. Here is a copy of an email I got Saturday about him.
"Brian Griffith had his wreck in South Dakota , not Iowa . They air-lifted him to Iowa . He has several broken ribs, bleeding at the base of his brain, punctured lung, broken SE lower lumbar (broken back), several face lacerations, and a bolt in his head. I'm not sure what the bolt is for unless it's to relieve pressure from his brain. It also ripped one of his ears off. They sewed it back on though. They are keeping him in a coma for at least a week to relieve the pain. That's all I now at this point. When I know more I will let you know. Please continue to pray!"
This happened on Friday. We are not sure, but the word is he had a blow-out. He is an engineer for a local factory here and his wife is the Circuit Clerk for the County.
Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
That's just horrible! Prayers for him and his family; may our Good and Gracious Lord restore him to a full measure of health and comfort his family in this time of distress.
