Bought a HD dog collar from the US on ebay (I'm British) and it said made in USA. I was more than surprised. Thought this would have been for sure made elsewhere. At the end of the day, if you don't like buying stuff from china (I dont mind because its cheap), then buy another brand. I'm happy to buy Harley bits for my bike, but wouldn't buy any of the clothing. I have a Schott Jacket and a Shoei helmet (in my opinion the best helmet brands are Shoei and Arai).
An article in the Thunder Press either last month or May said that Harleys are 94% made un the USA. Ford F-150 was 55%. Chevy Silverado was 65%. Can't remember the Dodge figure but I think it was around 70%. And the Toyota Tundra was 80%.
Kind of funny that a Japanese make is more made in the USA than the big three.
Show me where their leathers are made in the USA. I can't find it anywhere on their site. Just "building the World's Finest Motorcycle Leathers". Just asking.
