2006 Dyna Wide Glide
I've owned and ridden Harleys for 30 yrs. I took my 06 Wide Glide in for the 20K servoce prior to taking a trip starting 7/28. The inner primary mainshaft bearing is shot. I am told the proper fix is an upgraded inner primary and new bearing. Why was there not a recall for this? Now the dealer is not sure they can get the replacement parts before my scheduled trip. Also my bike requires two new tires. 6K on tires ! unbelievable ! What ever happened to the quality product I have experienced for the last 30 yrs?

I have 31,000 miles on my 07 Lowrider and it's just start to feel something going bad. My friends 06 Lowrider had a little noise then couple hundred miles then trans fell apart.

I sold my 06 Wide Glide to a salesman at my stealership when I bought my Road Glide. I put almost 40,000 miles on it from Sept 06 to Dec 09 and never felt or otherwise sensed any issues. The first thing he did was have the inner primary bearing changed at Moco's expense.
