HOLY ***** SIZE CADMAN ! We go from a safety discussion right into who has the biggest motorcycle. Listen, we have all agreed to say yours is the biggest even if we know it's not, so just give the sister/girl/whatever bike things a rest.
I think that people should be able to do ANYTHING they want to. But, along with that, they should have to take responsibility for their actions. If you do NOT want to protect yourself as much as possible, fine, then you should pay the price including the price of the medical care you occur. If you occur injuries that would have been prevented or been less serious with proper protection the insurance should refuse to pay. You made the choice now live with it.
So you believe that your insurance company should decide what clothes you have to wear?

Cadman, your credibilty just sinks lower and lower. The bottom can't be far away. You are not even a funny joke anymore. And, I'm being totally serious here. Give it up!

He does have a point? If someone chooses to ride in shorts, flip flops, and t shirts and they get a bad case of road rash, why should the ins co have to pay for this risk choice? They are an adult, they know and accept the risk of riding in shorts and short sleeves. Why shouldn't they also assume all financial responsibility for their road rash? I'm surprised the ins cos haven't come up with this on their own! Sure would save them a lot of money on claims? Just asking?
You know I work for different companies and you have to let the insurance company know how much time your workers are on the road. For me that's with my Harley.
