In early June, I was riding in Southern Illinois (in 6th gear--all I'll admit to) when a bug (I think a wasp maybe) hit me in my left arm. It stuck and as I looked down I felt it stinging me. Naturally I couldn't suddenly release the throttle to wipe it off or pull it out so I had to slow enough to reach over and pull it off. OMG--it hurt like a searing hot needle. Seriously--I was just gritting my teeth, it throbbed so bad. I never did really see what it was exactly but it did leave the stinger. I pulled over and pulled it out. It throbbed for hours and eventually welted up and made a hard, dime-sized bump. I got home and put some meds on it and by the next day had three small blisters appear. That concerned me some but there was no more pain and it wasn't as hard. In a few days the blisters disappeared and I ended up with a small bruise. But wow, the pain it inflicted while on the bike was insane. I just remember thinking crap, I can't grab it...so I had to scream a bit and bite hard for a bit. Ouch. part of the joys of riding though. I am sure it'll happen again--why I went and bought some sting supplies for my bags. : )
I "caught"" a hornet in my FF helmet at about 40 mph, I was riding through Danville KY and I had my faceshield up and heard this strange BZZZZZ. I looked in my Rearview and saw this little stinger wigglin around. This little bugger flew right between my face and the padding: Try taking your helmet of at 40 and swinging it around -- I didn't get stung, but I did get a lot of waves from the locals!
I had a yellow jacket whack me in the neck and fall into my shirt last week. I was thinking "man that hurt" then it stung the hell out of me on my stomach. I thought I was going to wreck trying to get pulled over to get it out of my shirt.
I had one of those black and yellow bumble bees in my jacket once It stung me five times before I got stopped. When I finally got him out of my jacket, it seemed that he was really mad at me for throwing him off course about 3 miles, it chased me around the bike for a while.

'95 I felt a stinging on my left bicep to look down and see a bumblebee hanging on to my short sleeve and stinging me below it. I had trouble getting rid of him because I couldn't take my right hand off the throttle.
'98 I had an 86 ZX-6 with a gas tank with some leaks on the left side. One day, riding down the road I felt a burning on my upper left thigh to look down and see a wasp stinging me. Before I looked down the first thing that came to mind was I was on fire! So I'm riding down the street slapping away at this wasp and my buddy saw it all in his mirror and was laughing away.
July 4th weekend, '04 (My lucky day) Riding from St. Augustine back to Tampa I got away with a warning for 85 in a 55. Then, later, I had a wasp get inside my helmet and was stinging my helmet liner on the chin guard (full face). I quickly opened my shield and grabbed him and threw him out (gloves!).
Couple of times. The worst was last year when I got stung in the throat, must have hit a vein as my whole left side swelled up like a ballon. Hurt like hell!
