Default Adding support Easy Bracket & Leatherworks bags

I promised photos and just tonight had time to get them done.
Below is a picture of the bracing my hubby added to my Easy Bracket/ Leatherworks bag setup.

The T-Brace was bought at the local hardware store and came powder coated in black just as you see it. It was a little longer so we cut it to fit. We decided not to drill more holes in the bags so it is attached to the Easy Bracket only with fairly flat (rounded) bolt heads with locking nuts on outside (yes I know I need to paint them black).

Wow, Mr Rose is quite talented.

That looks great and is nothing like I had envisioned.

Does it work well? Did you decide to bend them a little, or are they flat?

Thanks for the pics! I feel much better now.

Yeah, Mr. Rose is a great guy! I think I'll keep him around for a while.

He was going to just use a straight piece and found the T already powder coated (got it at Home Depot). He did bend them out slightly. The metal is just about as thick as the easy bracket. I haven't had a chance to go for a ride yet but they seem really strong I've put my hand in and pushed against them. They will get a good test when we go on vacation next week

I'll probably leave them on even once the bags are fixed.

BTW...Leatherworks is going to repair or replace after the trip due to the curling.

Sounds like great service after the fact. I'm glad he wasn't just BS'ing me when I told him of your issue and he said to have you call...

I forgot about your vacation...

You're going to post the details before you go right? Lots of central CA riders here... Heck I might even be able to get the time meet up somewhere if you are planning any stops.
