The Fix-a-Flat folks say their product is not intended for motorcycle tires. I suppose its a liability thing...two wheels...although a lot of people use it. The info:

Certainly not something I'd count on. AAA RVplus did the job for us and fortunately we got to a dealer just in time for them to fix it before closing hours.

If it had been after hours guess we would've had to get a room for the night. Not much different if a tranny went in your cage or something else broke on your bike.

Yes, it would be nice if I had the $$ to get cast wheels for our softails. But as I said lot of other things can happen to your bike that'll still put you down for the night.

Just gotta roll with the punches and refuse to let it ruin your trip.
Too bad you're not local--I would swap my Fatboy cast wheels for your spokes in a minute! Love spokes on a Fatty.

I like my spokes. My Heritage classic is full of spokes. Worth the trouble any day. Have a solid rim on the back of my wide glide and I think it looks just okay but twisted stainless spokes would look better. One day.

I think that said hi performance motorcycles. So it should be ok in a Harley. At least it was in mine three times.

Well I guess it would be welcome to "foot city" then

You have some damn good luck, I've had two flats in the last year.

Didn't mean to ruffle feathers and this isn't a " Real Biker vs " post but like the man above said when it hits I'm always out in the boonies where cell phones are them gadgets that them city boys have as the locals say , so you have be self reliant when help isn't a call away .

Climb the nearest water tower, or high point and call for help, and then fire up a doobie, sit back and wait for the cavalry to show up.

i used to have laced wheels, but after 2 flats, and hog not showing up to give me a tow, i decided 'never again'..... now i just carry a plug kit with me. haven't had to use it on my bike, but have on a buddy's.
I have a plug kit with compressed air cylinders that screw onto the valve stem. I never have used it but its there if I do.
