I used a coat hanger to make a coil wire.

Remember the oil filter canisters that you could use a roll of toilet paper in for a filter?

I always carried a 6' long piece of garden hose, just in case.

The closest I've ever been to one of my best friends is in the trunk of a '50 model Mercury, sneaking into a drive-in movie.

Filled up a car gas tank from empty with $5.

Those were the days alright, new bikes are nice but it just seems like there's something missing sometimes.

Aside from the hair part we could be twins from different mothers , been down that road

Yeah, let's see... pulling on what was left of a broken throttle cable to make it rev, then riding home like that. Coasting (or more often pushing) into a gas station and then filling up (with "high test") for less than $2.00. The aforementioned kicker, spark advance, points and plugs issues. Poorly adjusted mousetraps would KILL your left hand. No passenger pegs, so your girl would just wrap her legs around your waist. Buck model 110! Don't have one? GET ONE! Those sparkly vinyl seats held on with a bungee cord. Turn signals were left arm straight out for a left turn, bent up at the elbow for right turn, bent down for slow or stop (we never did that one). Vertebrae destroyed by rigid frames. No front brake, **** poor back brake. Putting a 6 volt horn on a 12 volt system (loud but it died early). Wiring up a cigarette lighter, then lighting everybody's smokes for them. Buying a jockey clutch pedal from a Custom Chrome dealer and fabbing a shift handle out of whatever was lying around. And every, I mean EVERY time we went camping it rained! Yeah, good times, noodle salad.

And after all these years, I just confirmed tonight- night time bugs taste best.

Never "filed" a set of points with a match book cover, buy I sure as heck set the dwell, or in other words, point "gap" with a match book cover many, many times.
Haha, P-38... yeah, and the 5 cigarette pack.
Doesn't get any better than that, noodle salad.

Shoot, I did that last week on my panhead when the spring broke in the parking lot at work - got it started, bungeed the kicker up and rode home.
