Default Hooker Pipes

I recently bought a 2010 Deluxe. I want to put Hooker pipes on it but I am not sure if thats possible. I know Hooker pipes are obsolete now, i have found some on e-bay that fit up to a year 2006, 96". Is there any difference between 2006 and 2010 engines? Such as sensors or anything else. My dad has these on his 96 Heritage and they sound great. I have searched the internet and asked the local dealer but no one seems to know. Thanks

Yes there is a diffrence between the engines, if you know a good welder you may be able to make it work. Not that important but why Hooker?

I like the way hookers sound and because they are not made anymore you can get em pretty cheap.

Glad your dad has had good luck with them. But there is a reason they aren't making them anymore.

Bought mine this winter. I heard some negative things about them on here. I have had no problems at all with mine. You will need to get 0 2 sensor's welding in them. But should not be a problem. I got the Rebel long's happy so far and only cost $99 sure beat's the price on the V H longs and they came with every thing you need to install them unlike V H.

My wife has a set of Hooker Troublemakers on her '07 Deluxe. Nice sounding pipes although the fit and finish is not up to say V&H levels. The price was right as she got them when they were dumping them and they are awesome sounding. She has the '07 so got the '07 version with O2 bungs but then put a PC-V on it without autotune so ended up plugging the bungs. If you were to go that route, the 06 models would likely work fine for you.

One bit of advice if you get them, replace the cheap-*** clamps they come with with a decent set of muffler clamps. Everyone I know that has them has had them leak.
