Interesting first post to a 4 year old thread. So you MUST BE britepipe?
Hello, Yes I am BritePipes and I wasn't trying to hide that fact. Just saw the thread and thought I would let people know we have a product that actually works.
Have a great day!
Just found a product called Road Rub. Best I've ever used. Recommended by my dealer's parts guy and works like a charm.
Here's a link... http://www.vanlark.com/
Hold the presses, there is a product called Blue Job which is amazing, takes the blue off my pipes in under 5min. also remove my sole rubber instantly. easy to remember the name, kind of rymes with...
note how blue my pipes are in my pic. , takes it off easily.
Hi guys. Some of you may already know this, but just in case I thought I would share this with you. I had some melted rubber on my pipes from my boots. I couldn't get it off. A friend of mine gave me a product called "Never Dull". It took the rubber off in seconds without elbow grease. It is a treated cotton wadding. It doesn't scratch at all and if anything, the pipe was more shiney. My friend said that he had used it to remove blueing from his pipes. He did say that removing the blue took some elbow grease, but that even that came off. All I know is there are NO scratches and NO rubber and it was so easy to get off. I have included a link to the "Never Dull" site. It seems that you can even get the stuff at Wal-Mart. I think it will last forever because it just took a smigen of the wadding to clean the rubber off. Here is the link: http://www.nevrdull.com/

Yea, I used to use that on my brass back in the day in the Army. Great stuff and shined stuff good enough to pass inspection! Thx for creating a good tip for us to use. G
