It seems that there are a few places. Arizona, New Mexico and Texas sound pretty good as do a few others in the eastern states.

Relocate? Hell yeah, but your government has some say in that.

Next step is to find an inexpensive place to stay six to eight months a year... Property reasonably priced in New Mexico?

I ride year round wherever I live. West Virginia and North Carolina. WV winters usually had a few weeks I couldnt ride cuz of snow, and NC the summers SUK the life outta me. So I actually look forward to fall and winter. Summer evenings for bike upgrades.

Dallas TX and surrounding area, there is some real good riding in Nth TX, OK,East TX, South TX and plenty of rural living if you wanna stay outa the Metroplex, I ride all Yr, bike is all I have for transpo, only a day or two most yrs you cant ride, Like the freak blizzards, by TX standards, i have seen 12 inch snow in two days, once, sub zero temps, once, for the most part most yrs its all yr cept a day or two, rain can stop you if you don't dress for it, low 20's in a cold spell can stop you if you don't dress for it, I have all that gear I break out when needed. Gets real hot in the summer but you can ride it if you want, over 105 I keep it to work commute and early am or late night rides, 2 an to dawn you can get in some great rides when the freeways are almost mt.
I'm real fond of southern N, Mex too, spent 9 yrs there rode all the time.

Hey, I ride year round in Northern California... Redding... I find it harder to ride in the summer when it is 110 than I do in the winter... But then again I have a full set of Gerbings for those really cold days...

But, there is always a but... I can't wait to get out of CA... I'm hoping to relocate to Wyoming where those Gerbings will really come in handy...

You all have given me some great ideas. Now I can start to focus and make my travels align with some of these places and see about getting a job too.

Thanks for the guidance!
