Condensation in my fuel gauge???

Default Condensation in my fuel gauge???

So i got a ton of condensation inside my fuel gauge on my 06 Fatty and can't seem to figure out how to get the cap off and get it out. Any suggestions for me. HELP!!!!!

Ride it in the sunshine and ignore it. It should go away on it's own. Seems like everytime I get caught in a turd floater or a quick weather change from hot to cold it happens.

Its just one of them annoying things. Just wasn't sure if there was a trick. Thanks guys

try shooting the gauge face with a hair dryer.

My 81 FLT does it so does my 06 Ultra. I would guess after that amount of time they would have figured out what causes it an come up with a fix. I guess the only "fix" is live with it.

they all really do do that. I had 5 same way as yours
goes away as you drive in dry weaher

My gauges will fog,but the speedo tach doesn't. My garage is humid. It usualy goes away after it warms up.

Default Need a cotton storage cover.

I had the same problem and was using a storage cover that wouldn't breath. Harely has a new cotton cover when storing your bike. I live in the NW and it rains all the damm time. I took the cover off and the condensation went away. I also got water in my fuel after six weeks of not riding. Damm ethanol, it attracts water like a magnet.
