I bought my Grip Heaters from Polly Heaters. http://www.pollyheaters.com/ph200.htm They're supposed to be for Snowmobiles but they work great on my bike. I found out about them on this forum so in a sense I'm just passing this along. They have two heat settings: Low and High. Trust me, you will never ever need the High setting. I've ridden in snow and sleet this past summer (what summer?) in Yellowstone NP for the better part of 3 hours (not by choice) and never had to use anything but the Low setting. in fact I had to turn the heaters off now and again to keep tings from getting too hot. On Low they only draw about 2 amps and on High just slightly less than 3 amps. For $30 these are damn hard to beat. I also have a BMW with factory heated grips and while they do heat up a bit faster the difference is about one mile of riding the BMW and about two miles on the Harley with these heaters installed.
