Fork Brace
I am going to buy , for my 07 super glide .The fork brace that fits over the front of the sliders tubes . I here good thing about it , helping the front suspension hold up in the turns .They want $ 250.00 for it just wondering if it is all that . Need some feedback Thanks
From what has been discussed here a lot of riders have found the brace to be a big help. However, those with 49mm forks like you (and me) don't always agree it's worth the money. These are some pretty beefy forks. I was thinking about installing a fork brace but had to first needed to change my tires. I'm glad I did that first because the new Avon I put on the front made a huge difference in how that front end handled. It's your money, but it's just something to consider.
I have a Super Brace on my 1200R Sportster and it has helped quite a bit. The front end feels more solid and secure in curves, especially when the road surface is a bit bumpy.

My 2003 LowRider among other things now has a Super Brace on the 4" over forks. BIG improvement esp with the better suspension..handling mods aren't as sexy as motor mods but best bang for the buck IMHO (I happened to have 180 dollars a few months ago)

I always put on fork braces except inverted forks which don't need them.
From a Street 750, Dyna's, Softails and Sportsters I have always felt the difference. On a tight turn on very bumpy surfaces with strong cross winds is when the brace shines.
Cost is not an issue with me and it is chump change. The improved stability is priceless.
