Default WIX Oil Filter
Had to change oil and had run out of my usual K&N's so I went down to the local auto zone and got a WIX 51348. It's shorter than the normal filter. Guess I'll run it until I can get another. Anybody else ever use WIX?

Wix makes a good filter, although I didn't know Wix made motorcycle oil filters. I used to use them back when I was an owner operator in the trucking business.

Wix is about the only oil filter I use.I sell auto parts and after studying quite af ew filters,these got my vote.

Same here, I spent 10 yrs in the parts biz its all I will use.

don't quote me on this but I am almost positive the HD filter is made by Wix. You would be surprised how many of these "aftermarket" parts are found in OE brand boxes.

Ok, but is that the right part number? I was concerned because they are considerably shorter than the OEM.

Been using them in my truck & van for many years - size doesn't matter - it's the quality. You're good w/Wix.

I may be wrong but I think Wix and Fram are the only manufactures in the USA.
