While I am not an advocate of stealing in any way, when it comes to charter, f… them. Most people don’t know this, but, if you have their internet service, you can get free basic cable tv. You just need to split the cable before it goes into your modem. Run the split cable to a cable ready tv and Walla!!! Free cable. It can be your way of sticking it to the man. i of course have never done this.

They're supposed to install a trap that blocks all downstream frequencies but the one the modem uses and also allows the sub-band return to pass but oftentimes the installer is too lazy to put it in. If they didn't, it's their own damn fault.
