Default Lonestar Rally

Was gone 12 hours to at and from the Lonestar Rally.
Seems like there are more and more people there every year. When I left at around 7:00 pm and there seemed to be more people coming in for the nite life.
We had a Blast.........

It was definately packed. There were a LOT of bikes on the island today. You could barely find a place to stand on The Strand by late afternoon.

They had a lot a good food, ate again at the fishermans wart even though the vendors had great food and beer. Reinheart had a big booth there, alone with light distributors, wheel and all. There wasn't enough time to see all the vendors either.

I went tryin to see the Rivco air horn but couldn't find one.
Kuyyakyn had like 4 tents there. I could of spent a lot of money in there.
Went and asked Help at Kuryakyn if they had any air horns. The chic turned and asked a dude it he would take me to the electraglide. He took me to the electraglide where he had a HID headlight that would knock yer eyes out and blew a Horn. It was a Wolo horn.
My wife was about 100' from the horn and knew I wA in the tent blowing the horn.
It was really loud and I liked it and the price. Told the man I want one. Sorry we have sold all of them.
Gonna git one.

It was packed, I made the mistake of inviting my wife and kids down and it took away the fun factor... So many people I spent most of the time making sure they were keeping up.

If you can't come unless you bring the kids that might be one thing. But I've compained for years about people bringin their kids as a lot of other people.
The Lonestar Rally folks has moved it to the Strand so the other people can have the seawall to do whatever they want to do.
This rally is every year. Ya got to plan for it in advance. And probaly only biker folks come to it.
If I had to bring a kid I would probaly not come.

And I know I could pay somebody to take care of my kids for a day.

There ain't nothin there really for kids. I see them on the streets and sittin down bored.

And the bikes sometimes run pretty hard down the street. If yer kid got loose and got in the street where the bikes run you bring a lot of liablity to adults trying to have fun.

This is really a adult activity. There are too many people there and its had to look down and see kids, they kids block the isles more and people can trip and fall over them.
Just about everybody yousee had a drink in their hand.
And women walkin down the street with no top on probaly ain't where you want to bring yer kid to. And there are a lot of Dawgs there that are lookin for it.

This like you said it a place to have fun and party.

Seen a lot of folks from San Antonio and Lousiana. This rally is the same time every year. We plan all year lone for it and because of my bike nearly missed it this year. Its 125 miles south from my house.
I've very glad and lucky my OL likes to go to it. She is always wantin to buy me something down there.
We save money all year long so we can play when we go down.
She always gits T-Shirts, waist bags, Bandanas and food or whatever. Its like turnin a kid loose when I take her with me. And when the Chics walk around with no top on she just laughs. She even points them out to me.
If I wasn't so tired and spent 12 hours yesterday I would go back today.
So I have a good time and consider myself pretty lucky.
Told her yesterday I wanted to git a room next year.
Ths will take some plannin in advance

Well I have to say that even though I didnt go I would bring my son if I did. He is a die hard Harley fan and wouldnt talk to me for a week if I didnt bring him. Besides no way in hell am I gonna pay someone to watch my kid while I go to a rally. Like anything else there is a time for everyone and a time for adults. I wouldnt let him be there after dark when things get crazy but lets face the only thing he wont see if I take him to a professional sporting event is the dogs. He will see drunk people and ******* any where else, so whats the diff here?

Install one of these instead. You just have to fab the right bracket for it.
