Well I wear the harley denim vest as needed for added protection . Harleys " basic leather vest" I found out is not such a good riding vest on my bike ( catches to much air).
There was a thread on American made leather vests companies on this forum that I plan on purchacing from . It will have the side lacing so as to adjust for a perfect fit .
I don't wear a leather vest maily because I've never owned one. I think leather vest look great but the cost of a decent vest is best saved for fuel or insurance.

I do, but not the standard vest most people wear. I mostly wanted it for utility. I need pockets that actually hold stuff w/o falling out: wallet, key, money, pistol. I searched for a long time, and actually found exactly what I needed in the Harley shop! If I don't wear my coat (with 7 pockets) I wear the vest.
