also you wont need to run it for 30 miles, dump in about 4 oz top the tank off and ride it home it will be in the system.

matter of fact I'm in central,NJ and doing mine tomorrow as i have the day off.

and stay away from stabil, i used that exclusively in my fj1200 Yamaha for about 4 years and ended up with a dark residue in the bottom of the tank that was flaking off and clogging the main jets.
once i cleaned the tank i started using seafoam and didn't have any more problems
after that.

I'm a Seafoam convert from Stabil as well. Seafoam got a Ninja 250 running for me after (self admittedly) not winterizing properly. Ever since then I've been using it is a fuel stabilizer with no problems during startup the following spring

And yes...gas only for me

Default Seafoam ...

Have been using Seafoam for several years. During the riding season,
I add one ounce per gallon which is 5 ounces for my 5 gallon tank. In
the winter, it's 2 ounces per gallon as the same fuel stays in tank for
a much longer duration. Never had any issues. Never used Stabil.

One more thing, I got thin carbon deposit rings inside the throttle bodies
last season which lowered the idle rpms too much. Easily removed those
rings using an old toothbrush soaked with Seafoam.

I always replace the oil and filter at end of riding season. Never used any
additives in the oil. I will use a little bit of fresh oil to push the last bit of
old oil out of the motor, but that's it.
