Hey all. I just wanted to start this thread so those of us in WA can talk about good Indy shops to get work done. I think we might be able to help each other out.
More specifically, I would like to get my fork lowers chromed, but have no idea where I might find a good shop to do it. If anyone knows of a good place in WA, I'm in Tacoma/Olympia area, I would really appreciate it.
I'm commuting between WA and MT for a few more months (long story), but my bike is in WA, in Edmonds.
Anyone have a recommendation for a good indy in the north Sound area? North Seattle, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Bothell, Everett, Mountlake Terrace, Shoreline, etc.? I need some clutch work.
There is an HD dealer in Lynnwood. Any word on how good/expensive their service is?
(Man, I miss the guys at Yellowstone HD in MT. Best service dept anywhere. They hooked me up may times.)
I bought both my current bikes from Lynnwood Cycle Barn. I lived in the south sound area and the local dealer sales department was shady, used car like. Never used the Lynnwood service dept because the long ride through Seattle was always a mess. The dealership was first class and had the full HD lineup parked at the entrance for demo rides.

It was sold a while back, now HD of Seattle and takes up the entire building...........no metrics in the buidling any more and there are probably over 100 bikes in the showroom.
My garage is the best place I have found so far. No complaints, no come backs, and no one to blame if it isn't done right the first time.
(I do all my own work)
