I need some advice from my "biker" friends about an incident today. While I was gassing my bob at Allsups in AC today a bug flew into my fuel tank. I pulled the nozzle out and grabbed for the bug as it fell into the gas. I thought I could see the bug but it was dark in the tank. I lit a match and looked into the tank. All at once a orange and yellow flame shot out of the tank causing me to feel heat and smell burning hair. Quick as a flash I put the cap back on the tank. The fire went out and I beat the fire out on my head and upper lip giving myself a bloody nose. Me being a optimist I realized my next haircut would be discounted 50%, also my right ear hair was taken care for for quit a while. Now back to my question. I was so busy fighting the flames I forgot to look for the bug coming out of the tank with the flame. Question: Do you think the bug blew out of the tank or do I need to take another look in the tank?
