Been awhile since I had this good of a laugh, could you check to see if the security camera got it on camera, I think it would rate a place on the the show "the worlds dumbest"

tie a string around a frogs leg and lower it in for awhile and let it hunt down the bug and eat it and raise the frog back out and see if he looks fatter.

Go to your auto parts store and buy a can of bug remover. Ignore the directions, just pour in the whole can.

Just to be safe I say remove the gas cap and flip the bike over to make sure the bug gets out of the tank. If that does not work try useing a Bic lighter next time-they stay lit longer. hair cuts are full price no matter how much hair you have.
