I just plain enjoy riding (except when with a really bad group with really bad leadership). Each type of road/highway has its own unique dangers so that part levels out for me. I find nothing boring about an open road be it one lane or four and I certainly like beautiful scenery. That's just me. It's when you think all is safe and nothing can go wrong that things can become "interesting".....

Riding on the interstates is awful IMO. I take back roads unless it's absolutely necessary to drone on the highway. If I know it's going to be long hours on the interstate I'll take my convertible.

On long, one day hauls, like Denver to Oklahoma City, I always take the Interstate. There's not near as many drunk illegal aliens weaving all over the road.

Safer to trade your bike in on a Volvo too.
It's even safer if you never get out of bed in the morning.

If you are on a motorcycle you are less likely to have an accident on an interstate was the point of my post.
