I check them at every service and replace them at 10k intervals.

thats what I do. Heck, a set of plugs is less than $5.

Every 5K, once in a while every 10K (when forgot to buy them for 5K service ..)

I change mine every 10k when I'm doing my service.

i usually go for once a year.

autolites, 4164. can catch them on sale at one of the auto stores for a little over a buck each.

I did the 2010 Ultra at 10K and was surprised at how bad they were. I will now go every 5K.

I to change mine every spring and they last me the riding season. They usually look just fine when I pull them, but they are cheap enough that I don't worry about it to much.

Every Spring. I run V&H Short Shots without baffles, stock AC. No tuner. They always show a shade off of white. Probably a tad lean but I have 42,000 miles on the Deuce and no sign of any problems.

I kept checking mine at each oil change, then finally replaced them at 20,000. The old ones were just fine, but it was a piece of mind thing.
