Daytona... first timer!
Fortunately, I have a friend who comes every year and I am getting the tour. Awesome experience. Read the other thread on lack or attendance... but you couldn't prove it by me. Last night main street was packed. One more night than home. Destination Daytona was packed with a constant flow of traffic.

I just returned. Was somewhat disappointed. Sturgis it ain't. I did enjoy the 2600 mile ride there and back though, except for a really heavy, blinding and soaking thunder, lightning and rain storm while also in a tornado watch. I foolishly decided not to stop and put on my rain gear or put the rain covers on my bags.
My boots and chaps should be dry by the first of next week.
