Default Air box needed

I have that 98 Magneti Marelli and I can't find any place where I can purchase a different air box/cleaner the stock unit is missing 2 small parts and it is rather larger and blocks air flow to passenger leg (and their leg gets HOT). So does any one know where I can look at or purchase another style?

Would love to but the carb set up on the Magneti Marelli won't let me put anything on that is standard the intake design is oval shaped. JP cycles kurykan etc do not make anything that fits.

You need to look a little harder. My 01 has the same FI as yours. There are several different options for you. Do your research!http://www.jpcycles.com/product/400-712

You've managed to really confuse me now. Maybe it's the vodka. Magneti Marelli is a fuel injection system but you say you have a carb.

Do you really know what's on your bike?

I do know, it still has a carb on it controled by the FI the design of the carb is different it was only made for a short time for the 98's they changed in 99 along with the twin cams. NO one makes an after market air box for this style from my research. SO just looking for help.
thanks
