Default Need help with a mod

Let me start by saying we lost a rider yesterday. A local man was killed when another local turned left directly in front of his motorcycle.

I worry some about this - more for my kids than anything so I am trying to increase my visibility.

I added the BAL tail light & it is incredible!

I did a little searching & found an amber LED strobe light for the front of the bike. Its a small 4 LED light about 3 inches long by 1.5 inches tall.

Its legal in Illinois to have amber lights - flashing or otherwise.

In any case - I'm using it so no need to debate that point.

I have build a small bracket & mounted it to the bolt in the middle of my crash bar - directly between the front forks in front of the engine. Its not obnoxious or too visible when its off.

When its on its as bright or brighter than my BAL.

So - all this intro was for this.

I want to mount a thumb switch on the left handlebar to turn this on & off. Not a momentary switch like the horn - but an on-off switch.

I don't want it to look like I duct taped a switch on there.

Can anyone help? Is there a cheap (less than $20) switch & can easily mount that wont look hacked?

Thanks - I think one of those will do the trick!

I like those Emgo brand switches, www.emgo.com They're mostly for brit bikes but at least they are chrome and don't look out of place on a Harley.
