If I get stuck in a good rain, I either haul it to the local car wash or powerwash it later when it's cooled down. If the later is the case, wash, detail wheels, engine cleaner, wax... about 4 hours give or take.

Average wash time maybe an hour maybe once a month. Blow dry by riding a few miles. 2-3 times a year I'll do a full detail wash + wax, might take 4-5 hours.
Washing the bike is more than cosmetic though. It's a good opportunity to check for loose fastners, cracks, etc. and I usually use the time to check belt tension, brake pads, etc. too.
