I'm headin to Germany, PCSing in, I've got a 2011 Wide Glide... Anyways I'm looking for what kind of reflective materiel is required by the base. And any other odd requirements they have.
what base are you heading to? I was stationed at Spangdalem AB from 92 to 94. At that time they didnt require us to wear anything reflective. And a $20 would get your bike passed at inspections. Have fun.....awsome country to ride in. Go easy on that good German beer...it bit me a few times.

Ok, you are going to feel like I am poking you in they eye a bit but bear with me. This is exactly why I made my original comments. A lot has happened in the DOD in the last 17 years regarding motorcycle safety. With the increase in rider numbers and deaths the rules have gotten a lot stricter. As of last year when I retired only the Marine Corps has relaxed the regulations on reflective gear but I don't believe that is usefull for the OP in Europe.
I can't speak for Germany, but I'm statiopned in England so I can try to give you some Europe info, it may be more or less restrictive then Germany though.
The riding gear requirement hear in England is the same as the states for military except for the helmet. So, bright contrasting colors during the day and reflective at night. In England, DOT helmets from the States are not allowed. The helmet has to be 3/4 or full face and ECE approved. You'll have to check on the requirements for Germany.
I noticed you said you have a 2011 Wide Glide. This may cause you some problems. All of Europe requires vehicles to have orange turn signals. Since the wide glide turn signals are integrated into the brake lights you may not pass an inspection if one is required to register it. The international wide glide model has a street bob tail light so that it can have orange turn signals.
