I was reading the post about the dropped bike and after about 4-5 post I got the hell out of that subject.
Kinda like when my kids were little and my wife would say "don't walk on that ledge you will fall".
I'd tell her "Well now that you got them thinking about it - they will!"
Bullshit - not everybody has dropped their bike - Now quit jinxing me! [:@]
I dropped my first bike, that was about 25 years ago, now after 20 years away from riding I have my second bike----so that first one counts----right? I'm already in the club----right? [sm=insomnia.gif]
I hated that post too! Made me nervous. I am 45. I will not tell you that I never dropped a bike because I don't want to jinx myself! (Get it?) I can't believe how many guys dropped their bikes many times over.
If so many people drop their bikes so often then how come every time you see an ad for a used bike it says "never been dropped"? There is NO TRUTH IN ADVERTISING!

Between all the people paying a good chunk of change for a new HD and then doing tons of mods on 'em and then dropping them and repairing the damage, the freaking Mo Co should be pulling in more cash than Saudi Arabia.
Never dropped a bike and God willing never will.... I know it deffinitely could happen to anyone, and I never forget that.
