In the early 60's I can remember the neighborhood gas stations would regularly have price wars. Once, around this time of year, a pack of smokes cost more than a gallon of gas!! Smokes, 24 cents, gallon of regular 22 cents.

My summer toys are on opposite ends of the spectrum. My boat holds 200 gallons and gets between 1-1.5 mpg. I can burn the whole tank in less than 3 hours. My bike gets around 40 mpg and holds 6 gallons. Guess which one will get the most use. It is criminal what is being done to us by the oil companies.

It seems to me that Obama said there wasnt going to be any speculating driving up fuel prices like the last time.Of course our weak dollar is also working against us. I cant believe America just can't take the bull by the horns and drill our own wells environmentalists be damned! Pretty **** poor state of affairsif you ask me.
