Oh I know this... I'm not trying to get killed out there going the Speed limit, BUT however, going one mile over is breaking the law I know that much. So officers, courts, don't care what flow you were going with if you were speeding you were speeding, safety issue or not.

Go to court and contest the ticket. Not sure about the "rules" where you live, but around here, if you go to court and lose, it's still the same cost.
I fought a ticket from Tennessee several years ago. The cop said he couldn't read my license tag because it was displayed vertically. I read it too him. Pissed him off. He wrote me a $186.00 ticket. I talked to the DA several times before the court date. The DA knew I would be there. The DA didn't want to deal with this BS. My ticket was dismissed. Even if they would not have dismissed the ticket, the most they could get outta me was the $186.00. I was going to make it not worth their time and effort. It worked.

Good luck, but think you'll just need to man-up and take your lumps.oh I know all the tricks, Trial by declaration (got off many times) taffic school.. hell last ticket I had I got about 14+ months of delays and reschedules so by the time I took traffic school it was out of the system 4 months later. I'm not a huge ticket getter, and have zero points on my record... just always looking for an angle to better my chance of getting out of it. I'll file for a few extensions before I file for a TBD, then an extension on that, ect...
as for depending on ANY leo forgetting what happened, I'd say about 99% of them take notes on every citation.
