I get a kick out of a guy complaining because he got a ticket for going 82 in a 65. A couple miles down the road from me is a 30 mph speed zone, and the state troopers are known to give out tickets if you do 31. And the local judge won't give you a break.
....mental note to self: Stay away from Roscoe, NY!
Do you really want to be the criminal who got free on a technicality? We hate that when a bad guy gets free because some one signs the warrant on the wrong line etc. If you did it. PAY.
OMFG. You're kidding, right? Look, beat that **** if you can. Especially after that. Because nobody likes the good guy who wants to keep up all down, dig?
I understand that the LEO are just doing their jobs. Man, if I had a quarter for every time I heard that one. You think that's all the LEO do? Just their jobs?
I was hassled about a crime once. I think they did about 120 felonies against me trying to build a case. Course, they were just doing their jobs. Law abiding citizens that they are and all. And guess what? No case. Guess what else? I got paid for my time and trouble.
Believe me, I understand that there are times LEO need to do something. This ain't one of them, and we ain't the criminals here. If LEO was just doing their jobs, they might see that. No way man.
Do you actually think someone with half a brain in their head is going to stand in front of the judge, in an attempt to fight a speed violation and flat out say they were doing 80 in a 65?????????? why even waste your time if you're going to do that, just pay it via mail and eat the point.
Every one of you guys that said man up, don't do the crime if you can't do the time must be ultra wealthy and **** money to take the insurance hike from the DMV point, and traffic ticket fines.
I'm sure you all pegged me as someone who has tons of tickets, but in reality I've maybe had 5 or 6 tickets total in 20 years of dirving. Every one of you has, does, and will break the law, and when you do and get caught you'll probably be looking for the same angle on how to minimize the impact to your wallet and record so all you self ritchous wannabe law obeyers can KMA.
I came looking for suggestions on how to beat it, not lectures from holy angels that have fallen out of the popes ***.
So, instead of manning up and paying the ticket you're going to take the little kid way out and try to get around the system. You had a choice, to obey the law or not. You didn't there's consequences for you actions.
I'm not going to sit here and say I never speed. But if I do and know I'm in the wrong at least I man up.
I would pay the ticket. I will never go to court unless there is absolutely no other choice. You have better odds in Vegas than traffic court. Traffic court is a money maker. Send in the check & move on.

Little Kid way out?? now that, Sir, is funny. You must be one of those guys that have money trees in their backyards, and can afford to "just pay the fines, and insurance hike for 2 years and move on"
Now it's my personal plight to try and get this thing dropped, or dismissed. And when I do, and I'm several hundred and maybe thousands to the better I'm going to come on here and Gloat to all you goodie goodie law obiding citizens that just love to pay and move on.

Ok Clark Kent we'll see ............... The system is gamed everyday and a man would be a fool not to play . Hope you don't live in a glass house buddy nobody is that perfect .

what a bunch of hardasses
No actually I'm not. But, a long time ago my mom and dad taught me every action has a consequence. How often do you speed, my bet is that this isn't the one and only time you've been speeding. You may get away with it for years, but eventually you'll get caught.
I don't quite frankly care if you come on here and gloat. You're liable just to be wasting your time.
