New to east central OK. Looks like Old Fort H-D in Ft Smith is closest dealer. Any feedback about these folks? Have been negative posts on Pig Trail H-D and would like to hook up with a good dealer/service department.
I have bought two bikes from them in the last 14 months. They have a good sales staff and know what they are selling; sounds odd but pretty rare.
Mike runs the service department and you won't find any better. I have had good experience with the service department on other bikes I had bough elsewhere.
They get my vote.
The only experience I have had with Pig Trail HD in Rogers is not too good - not the worst, but Old Fort has them beat.
Same here. My experiences with Old Fort have all been positive. Have done business with them since about November of '07. Just purchased a C Ultra from them the first part of April.
Service Dept Mgr: Mike definitely knows what he's doing.
In addition, if you're into this sort of thing, they have dealer rides, bike night dine outs, lots of activities (just had a Car and Bike show this past Saturday)... things that make it fun to stop by when out riding.
They are decent. I dont have any complaints... I like Pig trail too though. Route 66 in Tulsa has just been bought out by a new owner. The competition between them and Myers-Duren (also in Tulsa) has gotten pretty fierce. Both are constantly sending text messages and emails promoting sales and events. Go to both of their websites and sign up to receive the texts and emails and you'll be informed on whats going on with them.
I know this is an old thread, but I want to give another positive review of Old Fort. Traveling through yesterday and unexpectedly needed some warranty work. Made it there late in the day. Mike in service went way above and beyond to get me back on the road.
I was traveling in N Ark and had a wheel bearing go out. I had my bike towed to Old Fort. They didn't have the bearing in stock, so they take one off of a new bike to get me back on the road. I can say I've had much worse service from other dealers when traveling. They actually had made an effort to get me back on the road ASAP.
