Default Eye bolts size for tiing bike down?

What size eye bolts would you use to tie the bike down 3/8" or 1/2" I tie to six points: two each side front and one each side in the rear.

I had 2 - 1/2" so used them in the most front pair. gotta buy 4 more.

Thanks

3/8 should be plenty. Especialy with 6 tie points but considering the price difference, why not spring for the bigger size. That's just my opnion.

Go with in floor D-rings. Drings are stronger and fold flat when not in use. They come in various ratings. THis is a 5000lbs D-ring:

Another vote for the D-rings. Not only would the eyebolts be in the way all the time, I don't think they are nearly as strong.

Another option is E-Trac I use that in my enclosed ATV trailer . E-TRAC

There is a removeable wheel chock you also might want to consider . pingle

You don't live on my dirt road (1.8 miles shortest way out) that turns to a mud hole in winter and spring. So have to trailer 3 1/2 miles to my inlaws to ride.

And there are other reasons to trailer, one mentioned is going somewhere with family and lots of stuff and wantt o take theh bike to ride there. The trasiler has other uses.
