I have read several posts on here where people have had their bikes backed over, in parking lots. Any body know of any devices to improve visibility? With today's small, bright LEDs, that have long lives, couldn't someone make an antenna-like device with a flashing strobe, on the end? I'd put one on my bike, cause I know people don't pay attention, like they should. Including me. Anybody have the skills to manufacture something like that?
I can't remember where I saw it, but just recently I saw an ad or something for such a device. I was a telescoping rod like an antenna I think about 5' long, that had a flag or something on the end and a baseplate. You just set it beside your bike When you leave, it just telescopes together and would fit in your saddle bag.
When ever I find my self in a very populated area, and looking for a place to park.I just pull this from my saddlebag, inflate her with my exhaust..and there you have it..

Handyhoward, I am an optometrist. I park as far away from everyone as I can. I know that there are actually people driving out there with 20/400 vision, because they are stupid, too cheap to buy cl's or glasses, or in too much denial to admit their Macular degeneration or cataracts is impairing their driving. So I don't think my bike is safe anywhere. And if you live in a city you park wherever you can find a spot.

You're kidding, right? Flashing lights on a parked bike?
