Yep, I'll sell mine only problem is I have the prepaid maintenance package rolled into my financing. I think if I trade in they will roll that over to the new bike. I'll see what kinda trade in I can get then post up aobut it. One thing tho, you wife would need to be tall, I shaved the seat back three inches, and the forward controls are extended another 2 inches.

Pig in a blanket is correct. They started making the larger tank for the classic when they redesigned the Sporty for 2004.

The Sportster actually came with a 4.5 tank in 1957 when it was introduced as it took the looks of the "K" and "KH" model.

I believe it wasn't until 1965 that it came with the 3.7 gallon tank from the factory.

Yup, I believe 04 Sporties had the (optional) larger tank, 2 year warranty, AND a rubber mounted motor, right?

Unamed, Glendale HD is most likely in Glendale, CA. I don't believe there is a Glendale HD in Arizona. I agree with ya on Buddy Stubbs though, although I got a good deal on my Glide from Chosa's (before they changed to Chesters!)

Yep, rubber mounted Sportys started in '04. Crypto, that where I got my Dyna Super Glide from except I bought it when they just became Chester's. Indeed, there is no Glendale Harley in Glendale, AZ. You're right, I think he's referring to Glendale HD of Glendale, CA.

I just bought my wife a 07 1200 Low Sporty - Black with lace rims. OTD cost was $10,800.

So, if you want to save 2k for aftermarket well....???

Nice thing is that bike has very low miles.

I know this is H-D forum but if your wife is a new rider you may want to look at a used metric cruiser. They can be bought used for very reasonable prices. My mother who is 63 rides a V-Star 650 and loves it.
