New/old bikers
There is quite a difference. I noticed a lot of this from reading the forum which i perceive to be mostly populated by "new guys". Bet you guys that have been around for a while have noticed it too. Here's a few, maybe you can come up with some more. I categorize "old bikers"as ones who were around before riding a Harley became "trendy" in the 1990's. Hey new guys, read this and learn.
Old bikers do not "pull the trigger" on a purchase of parts or a new bike.
Old bikers do not use the term "newbie"
Old bikers do not have to get their wife's permission about anything.
Old bikers do not refer to their local HD dealer as "the stealer". We already knew that
before you were born.
Old bikers do not wonder who to wave at.
Old bikers do not sell their bikes the first time they have a wreck.
Old bikers are not amazed at cars trying to kill them.
Old bikers do not faint at the sight of a 1%er.
Old bikers can work on their own bike.
Old bikers do not bitch at the price if someone else has to work on their bike.
Old bikers do not care how much dealer installed chrome you have.
Old bikers do not care what you ride, it's that you ride.
Old bikers for the most part have owned other brands in the past.
Old bikers when confronted with trouble do not squeal like a little girl and dial 911.
Old bikers do not write "****" as "s**t".
Now heres the best one.
Old bikers do not waste their time posting **** like this.
You have eliminated everyone on this forum with at least one of these. According to your list there are NO old bikers left. Cause some of the oldest crustiest bikers I know are guilty of more than one of those.
Good one. Unlike just 20 years ago, the Harley dealerships have all sorts hanging around on Saturdays. Just the number of women riding is amazing. The more the merrier...

+1. I still won't spend a large amount of money without first getting the OL to agree with it.
I like old bikers. I like new bikers. I enjoy this forum. The only members that get under my skin on this forum are the ones that also own some other brand, and their sole reason for membership on this forum seems to be trying to prove that the other brand is better, or pissing and moaning because Harley doesn't build their bikes like some other company. I don't really count them as bikers at all. They fall into the whiney bitch category.
Oh. I like ***** better than old or new bikers if that counts for anything
