Took the kids trick or treatin' downtown on an absolutely beautiful night. They wanted me to dress up so I dug out my old reenacting gear and was the perfect Reb soldier. Walking back to the house with about a dozen little ones, two teenagers blow through a stop sign and roar past about 40 mph as the adults had to literally pull the children out of harm's way. Being the last one in the group and also holding a musket with an 18" bayonet I did what any good soldier would do, I took a stab at the car. While I didn't actually puncture it (my technique never was very good) I did get a great scrape all the way down the side. I actually ended up with a big cake of silver paint on the bayonet.
I got the cops called on me doing something similar. A few years later I see the point. How would you have felt if you made those stupid kids wreck into a family of 6?
I am far from the morality police, but just a view from another point.
Shoulda followed them and waited till they stopped then stabbed them in the neck and saved us some tax money.
