Default Harley Mechanic Down

One of our local Harley mechanics was seriously injured in a collision a few days ago. A local policemen had hit a civilian car in the rear and a highway patrol was on the way to investigate that when he hit the rider. We are all praying for him.

That's awful! Praying for him...

What is the name of the local newspaper that will be in?

Thanks.

The HD mechanic was hit head on by State Trooper. The mechanic was in his lane. Broken neck and has since had his left leg amputated below the knee. What are they going to do to the cop? Slap his hand?

Sad!!! Prayin' for the Bro.
Not a good day for LEO's.
I was on a benefit ride yesterday for a injured LEO and the town cop and Sheriff's motormen were flyin by us like crazy. Both sides of the road, two lane included.
I was prayin' no one got hurt because we had a police escort.
LEO's NEED to be more careful, use directionals, look before changing lanes, etc.., etc..
Keep us up to speed on the mechanics status.
Stogie
PS. I'm a but hole on directionals and looking before coming in my lane........

Yeah, it's sad all the way around. If I can find the newspaper name where the mechanic is, it would be good to monitor to see if the family is going to need any help. They surely will.

It's mass confusion when LEO's are in pursuit or responding to a serious call. A most imperfect mess of events. Two days ago a deputy sheriff here was responding to a distress call of another LEO who was in danger. The responding deputy left the road, crashed and died. Several days earlier than that the same thing happened to a West Yellowstone LEO. Always a most imperfect mess of events.

sleepneagle- are you saying that the Tpr should be locked up because hes an LEO?

its an accident...... unless he was doing something reckless (or intended to crash into a motorcyclist)- NOTHING should happen to him!

LEO's are human, just like plumbers, electricians, mechanics, doctors, etc.... being an LEO isnt cause to penalize.
