Has anyone successfully programmed a 5 digit personal code using the left and right turn signal switches as described in the owners manual? I have an 06 Road King and have never programmed a personal code. I decided to finally program a code and of course it doesn't work for me. All I get is the hazards blinking. If someone could walk me through the procedure I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
Checked my book and it still works....for mine anyway....
Ignition, off, ignition, off, ignition wiht the key fob
Press the left turn signal 3 times (quickly and quickly after you do the ignition)
Press right turn signal once (again quickly)
Turn signals will flash and display the current pin.
Use left to cycle through numbers and right to enter each digit.
Turn ignition off as soon as you are done.
I programed mine with little problems. I did have my son read the instructions while I programed it. I liked the odometer showing the code as I programed it.
