So i've had my vest for a while, and i finally decided to put a patch or two on it. I'm just curious as to what people view the meaning of it as. i mean, people see things differently than others do. So out of curiosity i want you to express what you would think if you seen someone with this on, and in turn i'll tell you why i put them on in the first place.
For my personal opinion, I do not like the "Stars and Bars" (Southern Flag). It has the same emotional attachment like the insignia of the "SS" or **** flag.
As for the POW, I have no issue for that one. I would not wear the POW since I was never in Vietnam nor did I have any family that went to Vietnam.
Stars and Bars. . .resident from the south or more country-ish. Not necessarily redneck, but just someone that grew up out in the middle of nowhere that thinks the government needs to keep their nose out of their business and sees nothing wrong with owning a small arsenal.
As someone who grew up in the south, but is now in the land of fruits and nuts, I have to say that I like what you've done. I don't equate the stars and bars with racism or anything negative. Those who do don't know the true meaning.
