Default Finally pulled the trigger--'07 RoadKing Classic

OK guys;if you remember I posted a few days ago about an '07 RoadKing I was interested in. Well, here she is. I brought my new baby home this morning--got her totally paid for, registered, tagged, & titled by noon. Had a good shakedown run as the guy I bought her from was about 40 miles away. First of all, the bike is totally stock, showroom condition, and 5K miles. I practically stole her for the price that 2000s are going for,and the price included the balance of the extended warranty; He only bought it in January, and put just 300 miles on it. Wife wasn't too happy with him riding, so I was able to steal it. I specifically wanted an '07, because I wanted a 96" & 6-speed tranny, but I DIDN'T want a "throttle-by-wire" bike;I wanted cables, and '07 is the only year for those 2 combinations. I looked at about 35 RoadKings in the last 6 months;everyone had some issue, or the bike was financed & they didn't have the title,or something. I can't believe I got an '07 in mint condition,lo miles, AND the color combo I wanted, white gold pearl & deep cobalt. The motor is stock, and I am gonna have it race-tuned & dyno'd over the winter (if you can call what we get here winter) because I like the throttle response you get when you race tune, and yes, she's a broiler oven between my legs here in the Florida swelter. Already got the stripper seat on her, and I'm gonna install all the chrome bells & whistles, goodies, and doodads that I removed from my '05 when I sold it last October. Oh, and yea--5th gear has a little purr to it, but nowhere near like I had expected or like my old '08 SuperGlide Custom. Besides--who stays in 5th very long anyhow. The brakes are the best of any Harley I've ever owned, and the color is awesome! She is now safely ensconced in the garage next to Pearl, my pearl-white Fatboy. You wouldn't believe how great 2 pearl white sleds look next to each other in the garage, but I'll save that for another thread. Here are some pics, and thanks again for all the advice & help.

Thats a nice bike and sounds like you gotta good deal on it Dickey. My brother has one just like it and it's been a great bike. True duals and a screaming eagle breather and a power commander and it'll be a different bike. I wouldn't get H D race tune, it's gotta be epa friendly. I can email you a map for the PC that'll run like a champ. I've got 2 brothers with the 07's and they run the same map. those bikes will hit 100 mph in third gear.

Dickey... I damn near thought you had sneaked in my garage and stolen my RK Classic from the looks of what you bought.... But then, I've got a lot more accessories on mine. Great color. Maybe we'll pass in the wind one of these days.

Makes me miss my RK in the shop, this softtail loaner bike is nothing compared to it. Great find!
