Default Windshield help

I bought the misses a 2008 FXDSE2.

The inverted forks are covered and have a diameter of 52mm. About 10in center to center on the forks. I think they are wideglide trees.

The only windshield Harley offers is 16in tall and costs $350, alot of coin for such a small shield.

Memphis Shades and National Cycle have mounting kits for 49mm and smaller forks or 56mm and larger forks.

Harley will not sell me the mounting clamps without the windshield.

Im not removing the fork covers or making any mods to the bike.

Any ideas?

Small windshield look for something with handlebar clamping system , just trim off the extra rod to clean up the looks after you find the right configuration for looks and riding . May be your only option I've got the same problem and 1 1/4' bars so my only choice is WindVest and they start at $375 .

Look at J&P's site. I believe they sell clams separate.

But I always thought that Memphis Shades sold clamps for specific bikes.
